This puzzle box is opened by 36 steps. This puzzle box have 4 slide keys and 4 slide panels.
The design is Traditional KoYosegi. The Japanese puzzle box is made from only wood.
The Japanese puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) is made only of wood, environmentally-friendly products. This a one of traditional art work of Japan. The origin goes back even to the Edo and Meiji era (1800s) in Japan. It has been handed down by the very few craftsmen. Hiroyuki Oka is the maker. He had over 10 years training before crafting these Japanese puzzle boxes and Yosegi-zaiku for over 20 years. All items are made in his workshop in Japan.

Where are your products made?
Our puzzles and games are handcrafted with care. Most are made in the USA by the Janelle family; some are crafted by friends in Canada, Japan and Mexico and some right here in Albuquerque. Be sure to ask for recommendations.

What is your shipping and returns policy?
We offer free shipping on US orders over $200, typically dispatching within 2 business days, often sooner. For items not immediately available, we'll reach out to discuss your options. Our shipments within the U.S. are primarily through USPS Priority Mail, with UPS for larger packages, aiming for a 2-4 day delivery.
For international shipping inquiries, please contact us directly. We strive for transparency in shipping costs, keeping them close to actual with a minimal handling fee.
